The Raphael Gallery

Four tapestries decorating the room gave it its title. The original ceiling painting from the times of Paul I created by Johann Jacob Mettenleiter has been preserved in the gallery. Copies from works of Renaissance artists executed by masters of Russian Academic School are shown at The Renaissance in the Oeuvre of Russian Artists exhibition.
