The Main Staircase

It was the Grand Staircase that started the gala suite of state rooms.

The interior decoration used to be too far from the original one until the restoration works of 2001–2003, which brought it more closely to the initial design.

The coat of arms with an inlaid Maltese cross has been preserved as well.
