The Room with a Wooden Fireplace

The room, designed for Count Sergei Stroganov (1852–1923) in the late 19th century, was akin to hunting studies of English castles. Sergei Stroganov was fond of hunting with hounds, and an owner of some stud-farms. The exhibition in the room presents Russian animal painting of the second half of the 19th century.
